The natural beauty has returned, it’s the man made things that are taking a little longer to come back. That is why a vacation aboard s/v Sail Pending is perfect; you won’t have to rough it without electric or air conditioning. Sail Pending is off the grid and completely self sufficient. Sail Pending includes a water maker that turns salt water into distilled water and is dependent upon solar and wind energy to power all your electronic devices.
The boat be completely provisioned in St. Thomas where supplies are abundant. Sail Pending even includes a Captain who has been sailing these waters for the past 10 years. He knows how to access the most popular hiking trails from the beaches and knows where the special snorkeling spots, some of the sites you can’t even access when you are staying on land.
We’ll welcome you on board and circumnavigate the island of St. John, USVI. You’ll get to experience the island from the water side and access remote places that aren’t easy to get to when you are based on land. Snorkel Christmas Cove on Great St. James Island and eat lunch at Pizza Pi, snorkel Waterlemon Cay without having to hike into it, you just have to jump off the back of the boat. Hike to Rams Head from Salt Pond. Swim with turtles at Turtle Cove, Buck Island.
Sail Pending has 3 Queen Cabins each with a private ensuite head.
Prices:
Sail Pending can be your floating hotel while on the dock at American Yacht Harbor in Red Hook. $300 a week night. There are 3 queen size state rooms each with its own bath.
While staying on Sail Pending on the docks only a Licensed Captain is available if you would like to go on a day snorkel adventure or a sunset sail. The Captain paid separately and is a minimum of $350 a day (plus tip) for 6 hours and $50.00 each additional hour.
A fuel charge of $100 is also added if you decide you want to go for a trip.

$1350 per night for 4 people while underway. (Only $337 per person, per night)
$250 per night for each additional person.
The weeks of Christmas and New Years have a 10% surcharge
The cruise will be catered to exactly what you would like to see and do, but here is a Sample Itinerary to give you an idea of what to expect.
What’s Included while underway?
The Captains fee is included in the nightly fee while away from the docks, though a tip is appreciated for excelant service.
You will choose your meals from the Sample Menu. Sail Pending will be perfectly provisioned for you to easily find the food necessary for you to prepare the simple but delicious meals on board in the fully stocked galley.
The Ships Bar Includes: Stoli Vodka, Beefeaters Gin, Jack Daniels, Souza Tequila, and Cruzan Rum. Also a variety of Red and White Wines
Juice Onboard: Orange, Pineapple, Cranberry.
Soda Onboard: Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Ginger Ale
Beer Onboard: Coors Light, Carib, Bud Light and Heineken
Please let us know if you prefer a different or a premium brand. If you would like a brand not listed above we will be happy to stock it on board for an additional charge.
Terms:
25% deposit at time of reservation, 25% deposit due 2 months before arrival. Remaining 50% due upon your arrival.
Cancellation policy:
If you decide to cancel at least 2 months before your arrival all 100% of your deposit will be returned to you. If you decide to cancel within 2 month of your arrival 50% of your deposit will be returned.
